Laura joined Max Fordham LLP in 1996 and spent 3 years working on some landmark projects including Churchill College, Cambridge and the Lords Temporary Pavilion. She moved to Atelier Ten in 1999, initially as a Senior Engineer, progressing to Associate Director. Key projects here included the development of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford with Rick Mather Architects and the energy masterplan at the iconic National Theatre.
Laura joined Ingleton Wood, a multidisciplinary building consultancy in 2010. Initially an Associate running the M&E team in Colchester, she quickly progressed, becoming a Director in 2011 and an Equity Partner in 2014. Laura is now responsible for M&E and Sustainability across the practice which now operates out of 6 offices and employs over 200 people.
Laura has always had a fundamental interest in good quality, truly sustainable engineering, as well as the importance of communication of those ideas to other professionals and clients. She is now a Fellow and a Member of Council at CIBSE as well as a keen sponsor of the Design Engineer Construct! Course for 14-18 year olds.
